Du brauchst das hier, oder?

People in the Cautious group believe that global warming is happening, but are not entirely sure, with the majority saying they could easily change their mind. About half believe humans are the main cause, while half believe it is the result of natural changes in the environment. Likewise, about half say they are somewhat worried about the issue, while half believe global warming won't harm people in the United States or around the world for 50 or more years into the future. Thus most do not consider it a personally important issue.

Most of the Cautious haven't thought much about global warming and say they need more information about it to make up their mind, but do not generally pay much attention to information about global warming or seek it out. Their most trusted sources of information on global warming are scientists, their own family and friends, and television weather reporters.

A majority of the Cautious believe that taking national action to reduce global warming will provide a better life for our children and grandchildren, save many plant and animal species from extinction, and improve people's health. Majorities also say that elected officials, corporations, and individuals should be doing more to address it.

In the United States, the Cautious are equally likely to be moderate Democrats or Republicans. In general, their demographic characteristics closely track American averages.
